I was born in a religious family who taught me a lot about the love of God especially my grandma. I knew the Lord’s Prayer when I was 2 years old and knew how to sing more than 10 Christians songs since I was 3.I loved Jesus since my early years but did not understand a lot about my faith or what I read in the Bible. I had lots of questions especially questions related to death, war, suffering and eternal life.One day, when I was 15, a friend of mine invited me to a church were they held meetings for youth. We sang, prayed and the preacher started talking about things that were in my mind as unanswered questions for many years… I loved this meeting and started going every week until I fell very sick for more than weeks…In my desperation, laying in my bed in pain, face up to heaven, I prayed and asked Jesus to come in my life as savior, brother and friend.

I asked him to walk with me the path of life that is a bit scary for a 15 years old girl, I asked him to let me understand the answers of questions I have and give me joy in what I do. I asked him for hope.

And since that day, all things changed! Yes I still have questions, doubts, problems and sometimes despair but I know He is there and he will teach me every day to love him and be close to him.

He will be there all the way, and I am not alone. Rita is so happy that she can be involved in SAT-7 KIDS to share the good news with all the children of the Middle East.
